One of the most common questions we get from clients and doctors alike is, “Is 1.3 ATA enough pressure for healing?” Most hyperbaric research over the decades has been conducted at pressures higher than 1.3 ATA and often, more than 21% oxygen. It’s no surprise that there are skeptics in regards to mild hyperbaric therapy.
Here is a nice review of just some conditions that have been researched at 1.3 ATA. As time goes on, many researchers and doctors are beginning to shift their protocols towards milder pressures for even the most chronic conditions. We know we have seen thousands and thousands of clients in our clinics reap the benefits of this affordable and effective therapy. We look forward to having even more published research to share in the coming years!
